Haemophilus Influenzae B (HiB) Vaccines

//Haemophilus Influenzae B (HiB) Vaccines

Adverse Reactions

It is difficult to precisely attribute reaction to HiB because it is often given in conjunction with DPT vaccines (often in the same injection), which also frequently cause serious reaction. But “safety” studies showed that HiB vaccines caused anaphylaxis, edema, joint pain, rashes, seizures, and death.

Long-Term Effects Caused by HiB Vaccine

VAERS reported 10 children who contracted Haemophilus influenzae B disease within 5 days of vaccination as well as many cases Guillain Barre syndrome, transverse myelitis, thrombocytopenia and other autoimmune and neurological disease.

HiB Vaccine Caused HiB

The Journal of American Medical Association study found that 41% of HiB cases occurred in vaccinated children. The protective efficacy of the vaccine was minus 58%, which means it caused more HiB that it prevented (Osterholm et al, 1988). The vaccine had apparently impaired their immunity, leaving them susceptible to HiB infection. Daum et al, 1989, showed that the new conjugate vaccine caused a decline in antibody levels immediately following vaccination.

Vaccines for Vaccine-Related Consequences

It is interesting to note that some researchers have associated the increased incidence of Haemophilus influenzae meningitis illness with the rise of other vaccines in the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. This has not been proven, but the unequivocal evidence demonstrating vaccination’s ability to cause neurological impairment raises suspicions that a compromised central nervous system may be more susceptible to HiB infection (Coulter, 1987).

Vaccine Efficacy Flawed

In 1985, the first HiB vaccine, called PRP, was not effective in children two years and under, and this age group represents 80% of Haemophilus Influenza cases.

HiB in Vaccinated Children

The Journal of American Medical Association study found that 41% of HiB cases occurred in vaccinated children. In fact, the protective efficacy of the vaccine was minus 58%, which means it caused more HiB that it prevented (Osterholm et al, 1988). The vaccine had apparently impaired their immunity, leaving them susceptible to HiB infection.

Newer HiB (Conjugate) Vaccines Also Flawed

Ward et al, 1990, showed that the new conjugate HiB vaccines proved entirely ineffective in stimulating antibodies or preventing Haemophilus influenzae B disease. Peterson et al, 1987, said “the findings of this study indicate that three doses of PRP-D vaccine induce marginal immune responses in young infants, and in infants at high risk three doses fail to provide significant protection.

A Common Disease

Haemophilus infleunzae bacterial infections are common in childhood and usually resolve on their own. The B strain of this illness if more rare, but also more serious complications on average.

There is no relationship between Infleunza (flu) and Haemophilus influenzae bacteria. Early researchers found Haemophilus in flu cases, as Haemophilus is a normal resident in much membranes.
